Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Please notify us at contact@frenza.app if you suspect unauthorised use.

2. The Service

Frenza provides French-language learning tools, including free lessons and practice, and paid content such as premium topics and downloadable conversation packs (PDF transcripts, translations, and audio). Some content is free, some requires a free account, and some requires a purchase. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Purchases, pricing & payment

Prices for paid products and premium access are shown on the Service and may change from time to time. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout. By completing a purchase you authorise the payment provider to charge your selected payment method, and your purchase is also subject to that provider’s buyer terms, which are presented to you at checkout.

4. Refunds

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Licence & acceptable use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service and any content you purchase for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You agree not to:

• copy, resell, redistribute, share, or publicly post our lessons, PDFs, or audio;
• share your account or purchased content with others;
• reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our content or source in bulk;
• use the Service unlawfully or in a way that harms the Service or other users.

6. Intellectual property

The Service and all of its content — including text, phrases, audio, images, design, and software — are owned by Frenza or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited licence above, no rights are granted to you.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Google (Firebase) for accounts and hosting, and our payment provider for payments. Your use of those features may also be subject to the relevant third party’s terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Frenza is an educational tool; we do not guarantee any particular learning outcome or level of fluency, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frenza will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm Frenza or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
